Černá Madonacustom typeface
The House at the Black Madonna in Prague was built between 1911 – 1912. Architect Josef Gočár designed the house as the first example of cubist architecture in Prague, and it remains probably the most celebrated. We were commissioned to design a custom typeface for newly established restaurant in ground floor of the building. Inspiration was drawn from geometric forms of cubism to create a readable, simple typeface with maximum impact.
